Maryland – A Little History

In October 2019, I visited Maryland and Delaware. I used a brochure from the State of Maryland to help guide my trip through the Old Main Streets that led me to many of the pictures shown in this post. Places I visited included Utica Covered Bridge, Loys Covered Bridge, Emmitsburg Main Street and local Catholic Church & cemetery, The Ott House, Lourdes, Taneytown, Uniontown, Union Bridge, the Western Maryland Railroad Historical Society Museum and Johnsville. I have also posted pictures taken along Church Street in Frederick and the nearby Mount Olivet Cemetery. There are also photos from the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum which is located in St. Michaels. The remaining photos in this post were taken along the Eastern shore in Delaware and at the Fenwick Island Light House.
